Paying your fare
Tap a Clipper card or a contactless bank card / phone (Apple Pay, Google Pay) on the platform reader before boarding — only when you board, not when you exit. No card? Buy a paper ticket at the platform machine (cash or card). Light rail is proof-of-payment, so keep your tap or ticket for the whole ride.
New to tap-to-pay? Set up Apple Pay or Google Pay on your phone, then hold it near the reader to pay.
Fares
Adult $2.50 per ride · Youth 5–18 $1.25. It's a flat fare — same price no matter how far you go. With Clipper/contactless you get free transfers for 2 hours (so a trip with a transfer is still one fare), and your day is capped at the $7.50 Day Pass — rides after that are free.
